So I just finished watching Nomadland By Unknown and I have to say It was awe-inspiring is was truly beautiful. It was simple, clean, raw, cinematic power. I don’t know the history and controversy of the notorious bob wells and really I could care less he was a very small portion of the movie in the grand scheme of things. This movie is about Ferns life in a unadulterated way I felt like I was a fly on the wall, or the breeze in the wind, the heat on a sunny day in her life watching her just live day to day as we all do. Watching her grow, fall, and continue on. She didn’t accomplish anything astonishing, she wont be noted in history, she didn’t change the world, there are no fancy bells and whistles to this movie she’s just living and we the audience are just watching her do it I felt both completely immersed but entirely uninvolved in the movie. There’s something truly beautiful about the way this movie works and the emotion is draws in me. It truly is worthy of its golden globe award.
