It's such a good time watching this movie!

If you decide to watch it, spare 9 hours first. After that, you might want to sleep and forget you even watched it. It depicts human behaviour brutally real and shows hundreds of people dying. As a show it's great. Acting, directing, script everything is polished till perfection. Infact you can't stop watching once you start. And strikes your emotions exactly where it hurts. Ghost stories are not so much horror. Not even the serial killer ones. But this is bone chilling, because people willingly participant in Squid Game. And it's so relatable. It's a hard pill to swallow.

Eternals lacks the charm. Only things that makes the movie worth watching is the twist and the scenes with celestial Arshiem. And there's one sci-fi theory that's really astonishing and explains why Thanos was right about destroying half the life in universe. So it is a superhero team, but not like avengers. Not even like the guardians of the galaxy. It's a lot like Justice League, but then we don't have prequels to understand each character and their dynamics with the each other. We're seeing the characters for the first time. In fact, it's similar to watching Zack Synder's watchmen. Ideally, the hero and villian should have a relationship with each other. In Endgame, almost all heroes had a reason to fight Thanos. In Eternals all the heroes are fighting an antagonist but it just doesn't have the level of intensity. The deviants are simply bad. They're just big CG monsters. Some of them are just ugly giant dogs. Reminds me of how well The Lord of The Rings did with all the orcs even though it was made such a long time ago. Deviants lacks character. Angelina Jolie is great, but I wish rest of the cast was upto her level too. And the names of the eternals are so confusing I don't remember name of a single one now. And they haven't shown Indian tradition accurately. Like a Hindu wedding is shown just like a Christian wedding but instead of priest there's a pandit and that's all. The movie starts with a few questions - why did Ikaris left Sersi, what is he not telling, and why the eternals were left on earth after they had killed all the deviants? If you find yourself engrossed in this mystery, you'll be able to watch the movie. Else find it boring.

I don't know what people expect from a Pixar movie that they say Luca wasn't that good. It's yet another movie that will rollercoaster your emotions and make you cry. There are so many heart felt moments in this. Plus, so many movies fail to show life under seas as interesting however Luca succeds. It is believable that Luca has always lived in water and is coming to earth's surface for the first time. There's clear distinction between the two civilisation. And the emotions are so pure. It's one of the best movies about friendship that I've ever watched!

One of the very few good Bollywood movie I've watched in recent times! It's a fantastic romantic drama. The whole picturisation and cinematography is stunning. The cast is delightful. It's so amazing to have all these actors come together in one movie, each playing a role perfectly suited to them. The story is impactful, with some clever dialogues and great character development. And the music is powerful. It's a must watch for anyone who appreciates creativity. Roop (Alia Bhatt) settles for a lifetime of loveless marriage in repayment of a debt with a man (Aditya Roy Kapoor) who's wife (Sonakshi Sinha) is slowly dying and who's last wish is to have him married to Roop. Zafar (Varun Dhawan) is a man without purpose or meaning to his life. Roop teaches him a few valuable lessons about life. He feels something for her. But it's not love, it's a 'Kalank'. Or disgrace, to say. The movie starts with a war scene, making it clear right from the beginning that things are about to get ugly in this twisted tale of love. Then it goes about introducing each character in a wonderful way. And as we learn why the name of the movie is Kalank, the titular soundtrack by Arijit Singh comes in and reflects on everything the movie is about. Things soon escalates into a tension filled climax and a thought provoking conclusion. It's going to give you something to talk about for days. Note: not recommended to watch with kids. It has after sex bed scenes, an attempt to suicide, few adult and double meaning talk and blood shedding violence in few scenes. Pros: 1. Emotional depth in the story 2. Great cinematography. Every scene is a piece of art. 3. Cast and characters 4. Plot twists 5. Songs 6. Varun Dhawan being shirtless and best of his physique for most of the movie Cons: 1. It's too long. I watched it on Amazon prime in two sitting, so for me it was okay. Watching the whole movie in one go can be tiring. 2. Aditiya Roy Kapoor underperforms in certain scenes, especially the one where a major plot twist is revealed. I totally recommend watching this movie.

Just yet another Marvel movie with Black Widow in it, but not much of a black widow movie in itself. The movie doesn't tell the powers, strengths and weakness of Natasha Romanoff. It doesn't tell how she got free from the red room which made her the black widow. It doesn't tell anything about her likes, dislikes, fear, guilt or dreams. It doesn't explore why she's always ready to give her life in a battle, what makes her so selfless and eager to do risky moves. What makes her laugh? What makes her cry? So in this way, the movie isn't about the black widow at all. The movie is about this mission to kill the guy named Dreykov. It tries to be a spy movie like mission impossible, but doesn't have that level of threat. It tries to be a family drama, but this family lacks unity like Dominic torreto or even the incredibles. And the movies tries too desperately to make it part of avengers universe when the story is not at all connected. It tries to say too many times hey this is the movie after civil war but seriously who's kidding this is the movie we're watching after endgame. It doesn't give the feel that this is Natasha who died in endgame and we haven't known her so much as we do now. And mcu has added another one in the list of its bad villians. Firstly, taskmaster has zero dialogues in the movie. In the comics, taskmaster had a character. Here, it's just the muscle. Secondly, the design is very downgraded from the comicbook version. The version of taskmaster we had in spiderman ps4 was much superior in design. Thirdly, taskmaster in the movie is extremely strong but doesn't use any of the skills in the final battle and gets defeated in less than 60 seconds. Also, has a very slow unusual way of walking. The opening of the movie is really good. I love the soundtrack by Malia J. It makes you feel sorry and scared for Natasha and how she spent majority of her life. But the movie doesn't explore that dark and bitter story. And must of the story twists are revealed in mere dialogues, then rather actual scenes with emotional impact. There are a few good action scenes. They seem insane setup at first, but doesn't last long enough. I think we've watched better and more satisfying action sequences of black widow in previous movies than this. It doesn't define what it means to be a woman and a superhero and how that's different from being a guy who is one. Why is black widow not a guy? Is it just for sake for making up to the criticism that all heroes are men or is there something some story behind it? It doesn't give a superhero who inspires us. I still don't know what makes black widow the black widow. This movie has been in works since 2004. And fans been wanting a black widow movie right from the time the first avengers movie came in. After so much wait, I'll say the movie is much less than expectations.

They had a build up, ever since nolan and synder collaborated for man of steel, but it turned out a mess. The makers were just not sure of what they are doing! The movie is disappointing. It's like presenting a dc version of avengers for the dc fans who had been longing for justice league ever since avengers got hit. Trust me, I was a jla fan since childhood. And I really loved the way zack synder was taking the franchise - it was much more serious, yet emotional, threatening, voilent and impactful than any marvel movie, but now they killed it. They tried to be marvel with their jokes, superheroes team up and light twist less story. Talking about twist, the main surprise for the movie had to be superman. It's like we been waiting for his rebirth ever since he died in dawn of Justice, it's a long time. And they had showed almost the whole movie in their trailers and tv spots, except for superman. Sp that's something you are really eager for as you go to watch the movie. And what do you get? A superman with fake cgi mouth! Yeah, the production had to create him with graphics as he had a mustache at the time of reshoot as he was also filming for misssion impossible 6 in england. The scene does open up with excitment, I felt truely Happy to see superman again and his silence for a while really got me goosebumps, but the scene ended in dullness. Even saying Martha was better. Thr characters are weird. They feel like children, rather like loners in school, who form together a gang and dress costumes. Dc movies till now had a matureness in their characters which felt loss. Plus, Lois lane has no character in this movie at all. Hans Zimmer is not the music director anymore, as he is tired of creating superhero music, and so the movie lacks that charm which man of steel and dawn of Justice had with its music. When man of steel came, it was a boom! It was an answer to the avengers. It was like - look! Watch what zack synder can do with just one superhero and a villian with a small team. Look at the scale of alien invasion. Imagine what a movie he would create if he had the whole justice league and the villian had a whole army? And i got the answer, after so many years, and it's extremely disappointing. The movie also lacks an emotional arch. It is the shortest movie of dc, yet feels like a overstretched simple story. There is no link to the nightmares batman saw back in justice league. There is also not much reference to darksied. I still do not know why luthor said in the end of dawn of Justice that the Bell's already been rung, that he's hungry and he's coming. The villian is pure pathetic. He lost serveral years back. He came back again, I don't understand why he choose this time and how Superman's death played a role, and he gets beaten up in every part of the movie. While he plans to destroy the entire planet, he is not even a little threatening. If you compare to zod, he has no vision no ideas of his own no history. You don't know where he came from. In the end he goes back, but we don't know where. There is plenty of action in the movie but it is not very engaging and almost all scenes were already showed in the trailers. I don't understand why superman was killed in the story at all. But this was by far the easiest fight for him. I can't blame it much. Zack synder lost his daughter and to leave the movie in middle of production. Josh continued filming but he can't keep up the impact that the movie begins like. Ans the special effects are awefully bad, but again that's because the movie had to be released in nov and they had to finish it anyhow. So that's what they did. If you leave the expectations and hype aside, then it is an ok movie.
