This film is filled with overhead narration to summarize key plot points and treat the audience like kids. I always like films that follow the principle of SHOW DON"T TELL. Many of the characters are just plain and the comedy doesn't land sometimes. Jim Carrey gives a fine performance, but it's not his best. Renee Zellweger as Irene was also fine, sometimes her character was irritating to watch. By the end of the film, I realized that majority of the characters weren't funny at all. Jim Carry's character has split personality disorder which drives the whole story. It was fun to see him switch between Charlie and Hank early on but it quickly became repetitive. Of all Jim Carrey's movies, this one would be at the bottom of the list for me.

This is the first anime television series I ever watched and it was bonkers! Death Note is mind-blowing right from the first episode. Light Yagami is a very complex character. With a length of 37 episodes, Death Note has a lot of stuff packed into it. The constant reminders of the specific rules provide a certain style to it. The show is directed by Tetsuro Araki who is also an animator. I always recommend this show to anyone who has never watched an anime.

I was really excited to see Venom in live-action after watching the trailer. The movie has a style that was fresh and new and so my first viewing was great. Tom Hardy is amazing at playing Eddie Brock and Venom. How he voiced the character was just great. The movie has a lot of good action sequences and some not so good action sequences. Riot was a very poor villain in my opinion and Riz Ahmed had very little to play with character given how talanted he is. Also the CGI Venom looks very cool but the Riot on the other hand looks like he's a video game character. The final battle was not that great to watch. Tom Hardy is very entertaining to watch and is the main reason I love this film.

Spider Far From Home is a BAD Spider-Man film. Stark just decided to give EDITH (something that controls drones of such dangerous powers) to a 16-year-old kid after his death. Yes this is where the movie goes downhill for me. And that kid almost ends up killing one of his classmates. In the whole film, peter is trying to impress MJ who he suddenly likes after coming back from the snap. There is no relationship built between them in the first film so I don't really care about it now. Also, this MJ is not given a great arc. Flash is once again just a joke in this film and not a person close to peter like in the comics. I never liked the character of Ned Leeds. Betty White in this film is also very disposable. The blip is also treated as a joke in this film. No one is shown to face any kind of Trauma, PTSD or any consequences of the snap. Once again a Spider-Man villain is created by Tony Stark. Mysterio has only one good scene in the movie. Peter does not face any consequences in this film. He just saves a day like any other superhero (that's not Spider-Man).

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

All I can say about Shang Chi is that it is something fresh. The actions sequences are very well choreographed. The music is pretty good and the performance of the cast does not disappoint. Ben Kingsley as Trevor is a total waste of the actor's potential. Marvel once again does not give a proper arc to the villain and so I felt nothing for him (and even Shang Chi) when he dies at the end. The main problem with the movie is that it does not give a good motive for Shang Chi to become a superhero. The film (like most superhero movies nowadays) is focused more on the SUPER part of the character than the HERO).

Had a blast with this one. Ghostbusters Afterlife is one of the most entertaining films of 2021. The one thing that I was really liked was the amazing sound design of the film. The movie never made me look of the screen for a second. The pacing and editing is very good. Some of the scenes gave me goosebumps. Phoebe is the heart of this film. I also liked Podcast, he was a fun character. Can't say that about Trevor and Lucky. I didn't really cared about what happend between them. Paul Rudd as Mr. Grooberson does a lot with what he's given. Overall Ghostbusters Afterlife is a great supernatural comedy one could watch. RIP Harold. :)

This film the WORST MCU film I've seen so far. It gives the most stupid reason for why The Eternals never interfere in human conflict, why they never fought in New York, never fought in Sokovia, didn't do anything when Thanos wiped out half the universe. Reason: They were secretly paving the way for the Emergence. Phastos paved the way for human innovation NOT HUMANS! This movie does a lot of explaining and shows very little. Also, the pacing of the film makes very boring to watch. The wedding of Sersi and Ikaris takes place in India during the Gupta Period. It's an Indian wedding and they are KISSING each other. This goes to show how little the writers actually thought about the culture, religion, and civilization as a whole. There is a scene in the film where Phastos's son calls Ikaris "Superman". So he reads DC Comics. According to that logic he must have read Marvel comics as well. Why would why read a comic that has characters who read comics? Why would I invest myself in a story that reminds me that I'm reading a story? And don't why marvel focuses so much on humor that even in the action sequences I don't feel scared for the characters at all. The CGI in the film is so bad I can easliy tell which sequence is real and which is fake. That's one of the problems with Marvel that it relies too much on Visual Effects. Everything is FAKE!

The first two episodes are very boring to watch. Kate Bishop does not do anything that makes me like her character. I couldn't care less about her. She does nothing heroic to become a hero. The show does get a little better from the 3rd episode. It was finaly great to see Hawkeye in action (can't believe it took that long in a show named after him). The best thing is obviously the return of Vincent D' Onofrio as Kingpin of Crime in his comic accurate look(missed those purple pants and walking stick). That adds so much to the character. I don't know why marvel thinks that everything is a freaking joke. Humour is good and it sure is a signature of marvel but using it too much can result in serious heartfelt scenes losing their value. I was invested in the show when Yelena entered the picture but her scene with kate bishop was so not funny.

I Had so much fun watching this one. The cast, Cinematography, Lighting and Blocking were so great and artistic. I personally think the soundtrack used couldn't have been more perfect. It manages to grasp the audience into this world. Also this movie is another good reason as to why people should watch films in the language that it was filmed in. I would highly recommend people to do so. It makes the experience so much better.
