I wanted to like this movie. As a matter of fact, I wanted to love this movie. I was excited to see Melissa McCarthy as a female gangster, and curious about what Tiffany Haddish would bring to the role. Unfortunately, this movie was disjointed and choppy. A lot of scenes were unnecessary, and just didn't make sense in the movie. McCarthy and Elizabeth Moss were good in their parts, but Haddish was horrible. I mean, she was painful in some of her scenes. She needs a lot of work if she's going to be taken seriously as an actress and not just a comedian. Common and the actor playing McCarthy's husband were only mildly better in their limited screen time. This movie had so much potential to be great, but sadly, was never able to live up to it.
