My first time viewing this Film was when I was 8 years old, my Parents owned a VHS copy which I found hidden in their closet. Having been raised Catholic I always had a fear of The Devil. But this Movie scared the ever loving out of me, I wouldn’t go upstairs by myself, I slept in my parents bedroom for like 2 weeks. It left me so distraught and being 8 years old at the time my mind couldn’t really grasp what I had just seen. And the way the film is shot almost documentary esque it seemed so real!! I never had a problem with watching Freddy or Jason they are almost comical, especially Freddy. But Pazuzu (DEVIL) that Old Serpent called Satan really threw me for a loop! It remains to this my favorite Horror Film of all time…
