This movie is terrible. The dialogue is pseudo intellectual at best and at worst incoherent. Sometimes characters are speaking as if narrating or reading directly from the book. Lots of random lines of dialog … sometimes books don’t make good movies. I can’t believe a director was watching this and saying “Yes that is it!” Like when Jack is told by Baba he is a killer and that all men are killers and he says he is not because he twister the ties on garbage bags. Lots of random pointless dialogue like that. This reminded me of when you friend has written a terrible play that is way off Broadway. I can’t believe Netflix would put something like this on.

This is absolutely terrible. The writing and the contrived plot - none of it makes sense if you are over 8 years old. Who could write such garbage - I mean compare this to Archive 81 which is infinitely smarter and better written and there is no comparison. Netflix should be ashamed of this one …
