Clearly this seems to be the fan fiction than anything Atwood would actually write the way she talks is so influential and that doesn't seem to be the case in testaments, the book doesn't have the intensity as handmaid's tale but it did satisfied the curiosity of long awaited questions that were left unanswered and it was hard to put it down but writing doesn't seem to be that of Atwood completely and that made it less interesting than it's predecessor which was thought provoking and exciting later book being but stale.
