I was impressed by the trailer of Alma Matters, so much that I watched it quite a few times. Little did I know that it was a documentary. Now that I've watched it, I can safely say that this is a notch above, what is generally portrayed both on and off screen. Definitely not a cinematic masterpiece as it lacks the most basic elements of cinematography, but that's the real beauty of Alma Matters. Every thing about this miniseries is so real that predictability doesn't come into play. If you have a love for real time stories or cinema in general you'll definitely appreciate the finest elements in this show that'll appeal to you subconsciously and will leave you in awe in the end. It's slow and takes time to build up but it was the requirement for show casing the reality. This show doesn't teach you a lot, but on the contrary it wasn't made to do so in the first place. Engineering "was" all about passion but isn't any more and the show has been magnificently successful in telling us the very same. A must watch and highly recommended. Definitely a 5 pointer or if in terms of the KGP vocab a "dassi"...!!!

I've been watching Jitendra Kumar's work from the last 3 years. As jeetu bhaiya, or as sachiv ji, or as Prem Kumar Yadav(Billu) in his most underrated movie "Chaman Bahar". For the sheer class of exception that he displayed in Chaman Bahar, i was thrilled to watch him on screen once again. Sadly the charm and his brilliance was missing in Jaadugar. The movie lacks comedy and comic arcs and fails miserably at it. Emotional turmoils around which majority of the film is based, fail to bring out the true essence of the scenes time and again. There is no storyline as such, just actors doing something or the other on screen. Having underrated actors, i expected a lot more than the movie could even come close to provide. Most of the scenes are boring and the acting by the leads is strictly average. Playing the role of an irresponsible young adult, Jeetendra Kumar aka Meenu's character development is just poor. Javed Jaffrey, why just why? Its a little less than 3 hours of boredom, that can easily be skipped at times. The movie is almost predictable and fails to build up the anticipation for the climax. Expected a lot better from jeetu bhaiya.

Netflix's marvel doesn't get any better. This is the best web series till date that I've watched in this genre. Charlie Cox is the daredevil that the audience deserved. It's been more than a year since I watched this masterpiece of a show and I still want to watch it for the very first time. It's just that good. I literally wish if I could feel those emotions, those chills, the thrill, Matt's frustration, his anger...all again......The show is truly a cinematic masterpiece in every segment, may that be acting, cinematography, visual appeal, story line, you name it. The intimacy that was displayed at the last of S2 E4, between Matt and Karen is by far the best I've ever seen in the entirety of Hollywood cinema. Marvel's Daredevil is one of a kind and I don't think that a show like this can be made ever again. Charlie Cox....You beauty...!!!!! Deborah Ann Woll seems tailor made for Karen Page. Not only she's adorable but also a significant contributor to the entire Netflix's Marvel timeline, unlike the core Marvel movies where female leads are nothing short of a glam-doll. I've been in awe since I first saw Daredevil and I can safely say that this show is gonna stay with me forever. And for the last time Charli Cox has the potential of equalising the legacy that RDJ created. If there's one actor that can raise the stakes of The MCU then it has to be Charlie Cox.....!!!!
