This movie is incredibly bad, I can't imagine why someone would like this movie. The choreography, AWFUL. The acting, AWFUL. The editing, AWFUL. The story, AWFUL. Was there any improvements, NO, I would be lying if there was. Lets start off with the acting, it's so bland. The actor of Mulan made it feel as if she took the soul of the original and put a worse one. She barely shows emotion and she looks lifeless. The Witch, which was an unnecessary addition, also brought the movie down. If Disney wanted a more "realistic" Mulan, then they shouldn't have included her. Like the actress of Mulan, the Witch seems lifeless and bland, and I'm not kidding, I was wanting to laugh when she died. The emperor was also gosh-damn awful. He was nothing like the original. The choreography and military tactics are also AWFUL. Many stunts Mulan did should have hurt her like crazy, (specifically kicking a spear that probably weighs like 40 pounds with her foot). I'm also going to mention the "mountain scene". 1) WHY THE FRICK DID THEY GIVE UP THE HIGH GROUND 2) WHY DID THE MONGOLS FIRE A CANNON AT MULAN OK that's it I'm done, This movie is just plain out bad, I'm glad I didn't have to pay $30 for this piece of garbage. Oh, and the "chi" thing should go die in a whole.
