DO NOT BUY. this game is upsetting to the point where it makes my chest hurt PHYSICALLY. INSANELY SCORING easy to score, even on superstar mode the goalie couldnt stop me. ive been playing since 21 and 21 gave me great comp with great EARNED goals . in 22 all u have to do is pass the goalies face fast enough and you will 10/10 times score. OFFENSE there is little to NO pass assist meaning 70% of passes do not meet their intended targets. as long as u have a break away and skate past the goalies face it is 100% every time a score , which ppl abuse. one t’s are insanely hard to hit , as the pass will never even get to you. AND WORST OF ALL if the defender so much as blows a breath of cool air on the puck you WILL lose the puck. not necessarily to the defender , but it will get away from you DEFENSE 22 is a defenders DREAM. personally , with my 5’7 (shortest possible) 160lbs (lightest possible) sniper, i average 4 hits a game. i have unlocked endless ENFD traits by hitting people with my midget of a sniper. and if i so much as bump into ANY defense build i am instantly on the ground and slow to get up. OVERALL if i could rate this game zero stars i would. i will happily continue playing 21 and will not be buying 23. EA has this thing with al their sports games (mostly madden and 2k) where they make the movement entirely too realistic and it makes the game feel slow and sluggish, i am sick and in physical chest pain due to my frustration behind this game. terrible game, terrible gift idea, glad i waited till 65% off so i didn’t waste 60 on this POS.
