I watched this as a child and loved it. I decided to watch it again and thoroughly enjoyed the miniseries once more. The story may not be historically accurate but the storyline is engaging, especially the friendship between Orry and George, and the path Orry and Madeline follow. The one negative for me was Constance's awful Irish accent. Shows like this, unfortunately, aren't made anymore. North and South is a great watch, very enjoyable 😉 Unfortunately, Book 4 is nowhere near as engaging and was a bit of a let down, especially as Patrick Swayze wasn't in it. 😮‍💨

If you want a historically accurate movie experience, never go to the cinema; Napoleon is no different. However, Napoleon is an enjoyable film that explores the military ambitious figure, as well as the emotional man, tied so close to his beloved Josephine. This is an engaging watch ; I look forward to Scott's uncut version in the near future.

A hilarious classic!! Unfortunately, a film like this could not be made nowadays due to PC.

This show begins as a slow burner, stay with it as it does become impelling. The acting is top drawer, especially the relationship that develops between the main characters. Unlike many good shows, the ending is not disappointing, unfortunate, but not disappointing 😉.

The best film I've watched in a long time 👌 Thought provoking, gritty and true life. Great performances from the cast, especially the lead, who was Roo in Hunger Games. There should be more films like this, unafraid to tackle difficult current issues.

This was an enthralling show that I thoroughly enjoyed 👏 I watched it reading the subtitles, which I think added to the experience. The storyline was engaging, helped by the good quality acting from the leading actors and historically accurate backdrop. The conflict in emotions experienced by Armenius adds to understanding his path from being a Roman officer, to leading the rebellion and (though not in the show) being murdered by those who distrust him.
