Although a historical drama, this show is not for the weak at heart. Disclaimer should be attached and here it is: this show has the grislyest opening scenes I've ever seen. Brave hearts ending and all of GOT have nothing on this. Please do not let children see this. That being said, the sets are richly done, the costumes are exceptional and the acting is wonderful. The story hasn't much appeal to an American audience though, as most Americans have no idea who Guy Fawkes was. If you are looking for historical film this one may spur you on to find out more about the Rebellion and what happened after.
