What comes off as an enjoyable show(yeah I enjoyed it enough to give it 3 stars) ends up being a show that is usually quite unbelievable with characters that are childish in behavior or just plain moronic and the show ends up being annoying to the point I have to fast forward certain moments because of the absurd behavior of the characters. Hill's character is always aggressive like he has a major stick up his arse all the time. He also acts like a little kid by constantly throwing tantrums about trivial things just the same as Roday's character. Which can be said about pretty much all of the main characters. In all episodes the characters behave in a way that is just...immature, stupid, or overreact to the point that it's as if they had zero emotional intelligence. In one episode, Shawn's dad is waiting for him in an alley (definitely late at night as Shawn is walking towards a limo with some models just to ask him advice about some woman he started dating. What kind of psychotic father does this? Why would he wait for his son in a dark alley like a mugger instead of calling him? Moreover, what dad would call his son at night to ask for advice about women? In another episode, Shawn is behind a pillar or a column and is covertly taking pictures. The angles at which he is taking the pictures are not even remotely believable with the pictures they show on screen and especially with tha flip phone he has. I think I am done with this show after season 2. Too many things about it bother me.
