It’s a sonic game. Not being a hardcore fan, I can say it’s decent. When I first bought the game, it was fun and I loved it. But then Flying Battery zone threw me a curve ball, and sent me into tears. It was so frustrating I almost threw my switch. There were too many bits that pressed all of my buttons, such as power ups in the wrong places, or Sonic going to fast and colliding into a mouse the size of his shoe. There were unpredictable patterns in the electric ceilings, and Eggman in the spider suit ticked me off too much, there were multiple occasions where I full on went through him. Losing all of my rings, and then dying from his electric thingy. Sure this game brought bag the Sega Genesis graphics, and even some elements from the old games, such as the “Collect blue spheres” At first, I didn’t have a problem with these, but unlike the chaos emerald stages, the checkpoints give you a different stage. I don’t even know what these stages are for, but I think they’re important because they were included in the game. Also, chaps emerald stages, they’re alright. But getting to those stages is a chore. I lied the “get 50 rings to the end” mechanic form the first game, but now I have to find secrets to get the true ending? Bull. I could look up these locations on YouTube, but where’s the fun in that? Overall, decent game, but incredibly frustrating. There should’ve been some sort of difficulty level. It’s currently 23:56, I’m tired, and I just wanted to vent my anger.
