BSG The Millionaire Maker

Aquaman is one of the worst movies ever made. I am a movie buff. I am also an audio engineer. There is no such thing as a great movie with bad music. It’s not possible. It can’t be done. Rocky...what’s the first thing you hear? Inception...cue those Hans Zimmerman horns. Music can make or break the movie. The music in aquaman might be the worst music supervision I’ve ever heard in a major budget film. One minute it’s a broke sounding John Williams orchestra...the next it’s Saved by the bell theme. Not kidding. No theme. No flow. The cinematography and coloring of the movie is also awful. The movie looks and feels like power rangers...from the 90s. Bad lighting. Bad angles. They tried to go for a GoPro thing for some scenes. It didn’t work. It didn’t look like a big budget film. The actors also were not good. Jason Momoa is best in one liner roles. He’s not a lead. The main villain also has a syfy channel quality to him. And they dug up Michael Beach from Soul Food as a character. That dude hasn’t been relevant since the 90s. Every cliche you can think of was used. Every. Single. One. “Noooo” “I won’t leave you!” “Save yourself” That sort of thing. The movie made no sense. The characters underwater could talk underwater clearly. None of them could breathe on land...EXCEPT the main characters. No explanation given. And the Villain clearly made his own costume as a diy project complete with bicycle reflectors for eyes. There’s about 15 mins of this movie worth watching. The rest is trash. 0 out of 5 stars.
