Emily Blunt was the best thing about this film. An excellent performance from her and clear diction, along with Matt Damon. Important scientific information and personal detail was lost in a morass of mumbling. Robert Downey Jr was the worst offender but undoubtedly he will get Best Supporting Actor. The scenes outlining the scientific developments weren't clearly presented but at times gimmicky and chaotic, not helped by the overbearing background music.

Slow and ponderous. Another patronising contribution from the BBC. Fell asleep halfway through the first episode.
