Being Skeptical with Assassins Creed the past 5 or 6 years this game really shined. I absolutely love the new style-even more than the style of the older Assassins Creeds like 1, 2, BH, and Revelations. I was a huge fan and then just kind of fell out of the franchise after AC3. Odyssey being a game I just wanted to play and beat turned into 100 hour epic playthrough; and I want to do it again. It also inspired me to replay every other Assassins Creed in order of release before I do my 2nd Odyssey playthrough again; Because playing it, revived my passion and love for Assassins Creed as a franchise. It is absolutely a must play game; with that massive open world RPG feel. and I cant emphasize how there is SO MUCH to do! I found myself several nights alone just fighting in Naval or Land battles for Sparta and Athens, Killing and hunting mercenaries, all alongside the main and sidequests. Ubisoft has really improved as a studio too; They have taken very good care of Odyssey and they also add FREE new side quest storylines every couple of months Season Pass, paid DLC or not, you get free stuff. The story is really good too all the way through; theres a point after the beginning where it just hooks you and I want to skip work for a week, ontop of that it wraps the other games up in away making the story kind of make sense and tie up some loose ends maybe from the other games. The characters are so well played too; actual Greek voice actors too-so that is awesome! It is a very solid game and absolutely worth every second checking out!
