The movie is watchable, just. But it’s a very poor end to the series. It had far too much going on in it. They basically handed the reigns of the movie to the cast from the original movie, which I feel was a mistake. They spent far too much time on them considering they weren’t in the rest of the new series until now and it resulted in a really dis-conjoined story arc. They should have had cameos and Chris and Bryce should have been allowed to fulfill their trilogy and be the stars of the movie. They should also have brought back the kids from the first movie which would have been so easy to do given dinosaurs now roam the world. Their mom got killed and their aunt and essentially uncle now take care of them. Also this the T-REX is a hero and talking to the dinosaurs narrative is so dumb so leave your brain at the door. Jurassic world is the only movie of the recent trilogy that I feel captured the magic of the original. 2 was good and 3 was poor. Some decent scenes but overall it didn’t work.
