Gumnam Alien

An Indian version of the classic legendary movie 'The Shawshank Redemption'.Not a bad try.Actors are good,especially the calm & quiet yet intelligent appearance of the hero Nitin is impressive.One star less for lengthy & absurd fighting scenes (fightings going on inside a jail premise without any vigilance is really indigestible).Otherwise good to see.

Just seen today in star gold tv channel, very awaited cinema but fell drastically only & only because of its poorest songs..heaven knows where did they get these awkward & disgusting songs with all those dreadful singers where half of the theme revolves around someone's singing career!!!!... overall, the film reminds me of a bengali movie "Ichche" directed by duo awesome directors Shibprosad Chatterjee & Nandita Roy, which also tells the same story, & it was a huge superhit in West Bengal.A must see movie for every parent & child.
