Tatertot Salad

I never played the original versions of these games so I was excited to experience them for the first time on my Switch after getting back into Pokemon in generation 6. I was left pretty underwhelmed. I can't really explain it, it was everything I expected it was supposed to be: gen. 4 remakes. While I wasn't overtly excited about them, I won't knock it fir what it is. For those who actually thought megas were returning, they didn't. They never were and I don't think they will be back until it comes time for gen. 6 remakes in the distant future. I'll also give credit to the champion battle that slapped me silly after I had easily blown through the rest of the game.
