I really enjoyed this series. I found Zac to be relatable and honest and I enjoyed Darin’s passion for superfoods and his expertise. I’m seeing a lot of reviews criticizing the two for being white and privileged, which I don’t understand. Yes, they’re white and privileged, so what? I feel like both of them did a good job of acknowledging this fact and showed humility and a desire to learn from the people they featured in each of the episodes. I’ll agree that at times it seemed to jump from one topic to the next pretty quickly, but it kept the episodes fresh and entertaining. I thought the bromance between Zac and Darin was funny, and I liked how they were just themselves, a couple dudes from southern CA. (Although Darin mentions he’s from Minnesota but he lives in CA) Overall I felt like it was thought provoking and very entertaining and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
