Looking from the other reviews, this movie is extremely deceiving. To me it's a common knowledge, but I guess it's not for everybody. Karate is a Japanese fighting art. Kung Fu is a Chinese fighting art. The story takes place in China, but the name is Japanese. I highly recommend the original movie, way better acting and it teaches about a different time frame. Will Smith's kid is acting super egoistic, got the part from rich parents than acting skills. I only watched this movie and enjoyed it for Jackie Chan who made this movie decent. I enjoyed it for the Chinese culture which is a again, you already have to have the basic knowledge because people are mixing two different cultures because of this movie.

I loved this film, especially for the budget it was made under. Great actors and the main character's progression made this film!
