I grew us poor, abused by parents that repeated their abuse and could relate to this film. Relationships are messy, complicated and what are soul craves. In a society that says push away toxic people - it’s not that easy. This movie shows what is real in America in many places. It’s not pretty, it’s not clean or happy...still real and something to not look away from.
