Slow-moving and cliche - reminiscent of the old Japanese story, "The Boy Who Drew Cats". Too many plot holes about the artist. It does not explain enough of his personal history. Whose blood did he use? Psych institutions keep meticulous records. Where were his, why was there only one page, etc. Not enough explanation about his past. Very anti-climactic, in my view. I prefer movies that have a solid plot line and connect all the dots. Overall, I'd give it a 3 out of 10. It was entertaining, and I DID really love the artwork, but the film was rather disappointing.
