I just started watching Star Wars and I am no match for the veterans who have grown up with star wars since 1977 but I have to say, of all the star Wars movies and series I've watched this show sheds light on the thing that we are never shown. There are no Jedi, no lightsabers nothing. This show explores how common folk and their lives are affected by the Galactic Empire. There are no flashy fight scenes or cameos. But there are lovable characters that you start to love as the show progresses. Despite everyone saying the pacing is bad I found it absolutely impeccable and compared to the absolute disasters that are Star Wars sequels by Disney recently I'm actually surprised they pulled this off. This series is a must watch :)
