Definitely something I would recommend towards younger children.
Firstly, I'll speak about the LGBTQ. I love how it seems super normalized and nobody questions bow's two fathers and how Netossa and Spinerella are married to one another, and how everybody accepts it. I also love the fact that Catradora became cannon. I understand how some would dislike this, but I think the more you look into the past and how they can support eachother from Shadow weavers abuse helps them understand eachothers pain and support eachother.
Next, the character design and plot. The character design was fantastic, it didn't oversexualize the women in the show and also had many different body types for each character, which is fantastic. It's good to know that some people are actually acknowledging the fact that people have different body types and such. The plot was also amazing, I loved each episode, and they made sure nothing was forgotten and everything was intertwined. I also realize that the plot was basically a story between Catra and Adora, and how their relationship went. They accurately explained abuse while also having lighthearted topics mixed in for the younger audience.
Overall I think you should watch this show with your kids. The only real trigger this show has is Abuse and Homosexuality(If you dislike the idea).
