This is a most engaging film. I can't believe that others have not written reviews before me. I had no expectations, ready to turn it off at any moment. But it held me and held me. A beautiful and unexpected love story about two people challenged by shame and seemingly life-determining circumstances. It is intelligent and well-written. A spare script, and not a word is lost through excellent acting and direction. Sara Forestier is an excellent filmmaker and actress. I look forward to her future work.
