This game is trash in many ways. Low quality animations, no voice acting, and absolutely poor gameplay mechanics. Winning max raids at 5 stars become random and lower levels are only winnable by completely over leveling. The mechanics in max raid will make you want to pull out your hair, I have had situations where I do 2 damage because the game soft locks you from damaging past that point dispite having type advantage and a level 90 pokemon. The shield system is absolute bullcrap and cause me to completely miss windows to damage them only for me to barely do the 20 damage because the other pokemon damaged them just enough after I broke all the shields. I earned that damage, I absolutely do not appreciate the forced difficulty machanics here. I could put up with everything above if it weren't for the absolutely terrible npc teams and them respawning. I could handle these raids on my own if it weren't for them dying and causing me to basically have a 3 round time limit. They wont even use useful moves! I don't have a regular internet connection to join others, but from what I heard, most of the time it's more trouble than it's worth or wont connect at all! The worst part is you have to catch these gigantamax pokemon from raid if you want a Gmax pokemon, you cannot give your already useable and comfortable pokemon Gmax, you have to catch completely new ones from these raids. This completely throws out the idea of being connected to your favorite pokemon you caught and raised from low levels. God, everything about this game makes me tear my hair out. What even happend to the omega forms? Those were actually cool and made sense! They were nice fancy bigger and badder pokemon, and sometimes they changed type! They completely threw it out the door and said let's make pokemon BIG! Why? Cause F you that's why. I have so much more to say but I feel I've said plenty. I might add more later. Bottom line: this game is absolute trash and they don't care enough to fix what they've broken. The max raids make this game unplayable near endgame and the rest of it is mediocre at best. Otherwise it's a traditional pokemon game but you'll have a lot of trouble leveling up outside max raids.
