WOW THIS MOVIE GOT A LOT DARKER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD. (No major spoilers) To be honest the darker parts carried a lot of the movie for me. It’s a cute cheesy Disney movie till you get your teeth kicked in by snake mc’gee over here, as well as the concept of immortals begging for death(not original but still interesting). The antagonists designs in general where just pretty sweet. It’s not to the point where kids can’t watch it but I found the brutal scenes pretty entertaining. The movie felt pretty long (especially the first half and any of the relationship scenes) and is my biggest complaint of the movie. But hey, I came in expecting to nap most of the movie. And it was pretty alright. Not the most original movie but still entertaining. Also why is the Rock in every movie at this point? I’d give it a 3.7/5
