I knew the movie would be derivative and predictable from the start, but nothing prepared me for it to be so boring. I feel sorry for the actor, worst sci fi movie I've seen.

The girl is portrayed as arrogant, condescending, having a prominent God complex. She is the only genius who can fix toys and build something, while her friends are just helplessly watching. The park building monkey does not have an imagination of its own, but needs a mystery voice of the girl and her mother to continue building the park. I figure it's supposed to be a women-empowering movie, but that was a bit too much.

Way overrated, moderately entertaining, and not scary at all.
