Take Hereditary and throw in some sunshine in Sweden and you've got Midsommar. All the characters felt empty with no development. The foreshadowing feels regurgitated. It's not horror creepy, just uncomfortable,in a very pointless way. I loved his first movie but this felt really lackluster.
