I know at first the show may seem childish or cheap, simply made for profit, but it's actually quite interesting, with interesting themes of family, freedom, and friendship. Not to mention the occasional dramatic scenes-including thievery, injury, near death(and actual death in some cases.) Its easy to brush the show off, but I quite liked it, and I love the 1800s setting, and how it effects the story. Sometimes you forget, but then realise that the main character, Lucky, is a strong girl in a misogynistic, patriarchal society. The animation is also charming, and the show is great to watch late at night or in the background of another activity.
I recommend it to anyone who enjoys animated media, empowering tales, slice of life stories, and who doesnt have much else to watch.
