Female character was extremely flimsy, disagreeing with bad ideas only to go along with them seconds later. Verbally saying "oh well its a good idea" but only when someone else says they want to do it. Also having the love triangle is kinda boring as it is extremely over used in more than just horror movies. Not even 40 minutes in, i found myself irritated with the lack of worry for any self inflicted consequences the main character was simply ignoring. Such as breaking into a church, then the home underneath and instead of driving, he just sits there trying to hear what happened after a colleague is screaming at them that he was caught and they have to leave NOW. This movie is on netflix of course because they have a poor habit of putting bad, cheesy and otherwise annoying plot driven horror movies on their platform. I dont blame the actors, i blame the writers and directors yet im neither. As a fan of scary movies that make me jump at things that go bump in the night i would love to see a movie nowadays where the white cast isn't completely disfunctional and has real life common sense. "Oh people have died their because of weird mysterious circumstances, lets not spend a night there unless we tell somesomeone to get us within a short period of time". At least someone in real life would avoid it and to make the movie an actual 1hr 30min movie, have the entity or whatever seek them out so it isnt another, "when James decides to go to an abandoned amusement park he gets more than his fair share of rides".
