Les Mis is a worth-reading novel. It is an ode to Hope. Hugo coined the personalities od his characters as it had never been seen before in Literature. They are so original and so well crafted that they have been used as a base for many stories of our days. It has a great plot and a witty approach to the reality of his time and, in a wide sense, to our reality as well.
