What can I say..... I just watched the "holiday" episode, and my head is spinning..... LITERALLY ! Where do I start ? Ms Lallouz over-sells herself.
Too busy, bouncy, and constantly trying to be funny ( spoiler alert... she's NOT!). Calm down a bit, Kimberly. You have a (potentially) fun show, all on its own. Stop trying to be so over-the-top,... The pace is exhausting.
And, speaking of exhausting, please cut back on the very annoying camera work and over zealous editing . It was like watching the "Blair Witch Project" again. All the constant zooming in & out, quick pans, tilting, and ,more than necessary, quick cuts. After just the first 15mins I actually felt dizzy ! (hence, BWP).
Also, when I watch a cooking show (and your recipes/presentations were wonderful), I want to be inspired to head to the kitchen and replicate what I just witnessed, but..... I wouldn't have a clue where to start ! Seldom did I hear/see a specific ingredients list. I don't recall hearing amounts, times, or temperatures at ANY point. I saw things added to the pot/pan but no pronouncement what they were.
Appetizing show, but far too frantic a pace to be enjoyable.
S-L-O-W the hectic pace, lock down the cameras a little more, and give your editor a Valium. Frankly, I need one now to stop my head from spinning.
This could have been an amazing show but, an hour of so much "activity" was too much to tolerate.... again. Won't be watching any more. Sorry.
