The only thing that upsets me more than the $50 we lost was the time we wasted playing. The gameplay itself, while ever changing and diverse, is still incredibly basic with simple and repetitive 'puzzles'. There is more staggered cutscenes then there is actual game play, and each moment forces more cringe upon you, highlighting just how toxic their relationship is and emphasising their neglectful parenting. Cody is insufferable and the story does nothing to address all of these issues. There is no character development... you simply ensure it until the anticlimac and depressing ending. She needs to leave him. Half star. enjoy.
