Beautiful cinematography, well written, amazing acting, and simply entertaining. All the people in the reviews throwing hissy fits about how the show pales in comparison to its predecessor, 'One Flew Over The Coocoo's Nest', are in a sense, morons. I wouldn't compare this Netflix original to the movies & books, but appreciate it as its own work of art.
The people with their 1-star reviews and blubbering tantrums obviously haven't done their homework either, because the show (or at least, the first season) is an intentional prequel of the events to come in the movie. "WAHH, RATCHED ISN'T IN THE SAME HOSPITAL AS SHE'S SUPPOSED TO BE, LIKE IN THE BOOK, THIS IS AWFUL AND UNTRUE". Well, obviously; because the show is her BACKSTORY. We get to follow her on a nail-biting, never-before told story on how she became the infamous, and wickedly evil, Nurse Ratched.
(Man, some people give me headaches.)
