The Secret Garden is one of my favorite books and it's a timeless classic enjoyed by many. However this adaption of it in my opinion was horrid and didn't do the boo nor previous films justice. The garden itself seemed a bit like the writers were trying to overdo it, it seemed more like a jungle or a forest then a garden. It lost the magic that it used to have. Not to mention the fact that several major plot point and even Characters were cut out. It was highly disappointing and honestly a waste of time. The script seemed to be all over the place and a lot of the characters didn't seem to be as accurately portrayed.

Not only my favorite book but one of my favorite movies. It portrays messages of loss, grief and the circle of life wonderfully. I also appreciate that they didn't change much from the book. While the ending wasn't what I hoped for it's understandable why they stuck with it. Seriously, the acting is phenomenal and it's a really heartwarming story that gives you a new perspective on death.
