A perfect example of how epic a movie can be. I have always liked this film, but I never truly appreciated it until I saw it in a theatre with hundreds of other people. Vivien Leigh and Clarke Gable are two of the best castings of all time.

This is the most beautiful film ever made. The use of new camera lenses and incredible direction filming in the middle east created a film that looks far better than any other at the time. The story is ever interesting and complex, with Peter O'Toole and Omar Sharif turning in performances for the histories. The definition of an epic.

I was born in 2000, 33 years after this show ended. Despite this, I love this game show more than any modern show that I watch. The panel is consistently witty and excellent, and John Daly's mastery of the English language is fantastic. I love seeing all of the celebrities of the age, back when that title actually meant something. Even more than that I enjoy the look into the society of the time and how much it changed over the run of the show. A simple, no frills game show that blows all others out of the water.

The main thing I can say in defense of this movie is that many of the visuals are quiet good, perhaps the best in all of Star Wars. The music is also quiet good. Beyond those, this movie kind of just feels like a long descent, from hope that the film will be good to the ruination of star wars. It only gets worse with the inclusion of Rise of Skywalker, which somehow manages to be a worse movie. The destruction of Luke Skywalker's character is appalling. All the story threads set up in the Force Awakens are destroyed in the name of "subverting expectations", which basically just means throwing in random shit out of nowhere to surprise people. The bulk of the film is the worlds slowest chase, which still is somehow the best plot of the film. The Finn and Rose subplot is just awful. The waste of Finns character, who on paper should be the most interesting character in the series, is so egregious that it feels a bit racist. Rey somehow becomes even more of a Mary Sue than she was in the Force awakens.

One of the best war movies ever. The horrors of the war in Vietnam are brilliantly portrayed. This is my favorite movie by Stanley Kubrick.

It's just not a good movie. Everyone is fighting over the politics of the movie but I just don't think it's funny. Not nearly as good as any other ghostbusters movies.

A great documentary for the GOAT of basketball. He is the best thing that has happened to Chicago in a long time. Though I may not have been alive when he played, you can still feel his reflected glory more than 20 years later.

The best star wars movie, and one of the best movies of all time. It deepens both the understandings of the characters and of the universe at large. Their is a reason why any sequel that goes slightly darker in tone is "the empire strikes back of X". Many have imitated but none have surpassed.
