Tonight makes the third time I've watched this film and I wait a while between viewings...so each time I see something I missed previously....little innuendos, expressions, lines...it is a fantastic movie..

The character of Vera is unique and unexpected in some instances yet totally predictable other times. Brenda Blethlyn does a top notch job of filling the roll as do her co-stars. It's well written, never boring as the story moves along with you in tow. Wish there were more episodes but each one is almost the length of a movie. I hoping it continues....

It has been a pleasure to watch this series twice now and it remains so special to me...so I will someday watch it again. The story is precious because of the characters, their individuality and their commonalities. Thoughts arise as you watch them live out their days, they become real to you and this takes you back to the time and place where someone like them existed. Emotions arise within you as they go through happy days and sorrowful times. The dialogue, costumes, settings all add to the believe-ability but it is the actors and actresses who capture you, hold you, delight or enrage you and take you to this world of long ago. Thank you to the people involved in this series...do it again.

The series Unforgotten is one of the best and I watch mostly British "telly programs" No American TV programs are seen at our house and we live in Texas. The stories are interesting, scrips excellent and the actors amazing...bring on Number Four!

Being an American and a Texan at that...absolutely loving British television programming I've watched all of the Inspector Morse series and now it appears likewise the Inspector Lewis series....sadly may I add. Well written with interesting characters and not a lot harsh violence...it's a pleasure to watch. Please bring more of your wonderfully written mystery series to those of us on the other side of the big pond.

Television series can be addictive when they are well done and The Sinner is very well done, looking forward to #3.

It is my understanding this TV series stopped 2008...just want to say I loved it as I have been watching it just now on Amazon Prime. I thoroughly enjoy most anything Robson Green appears in regardless. Will miss this series as I watch no American network TV, no sports, no news...nothing, LOVE British programs, especially mysteries.

This born and bred Texan LOVES this series and I'm grateful for the closed captions, that they and I speak a form of English/Scottish/Texan makes understanding each other hilariously amusing...BUT I'd suffer through just to see every episode. I'm looking forward to the next series....

Binge is my middle name and I have just finished "Level" and enjoyed it because it made you listen and stay focused to tell who was and who wasn't. This is the type of mystery series I like best, wish/hope there will be more seasons.

Hinterland is different but the factor that makes it so is intriguing to me. The characters are interesting and usually intertwined so you dare not miss a single scene. The scenery, the geography has a haunting quality about and the photography/filming is very well done. I read Richard Harrington wasn't happy with the final product...I found it excellent. I'm in the process of watching it through a second time. Sadly, I'm not seeing anymore seasons are being done.
