This tv show had to potential to become a horrible cheap cliche--except it brought an emotional delicacy and realness to the genre. It took the subject of teenagers--their experiences, their vices, their desires--seriously in a way that is not sensationalized or for shock factor. It was so tender and gripping. Coming to terms with ones sexuality was treated with maturity and it was just done so well. Now that I have finished this I don't know what to do with my life.
