I hope i can save atleast one person with this review. This is the most boring, drawn out, futile show i have ever subjected myself to watching. I forced myself to sit through it thinking it would get better after reading all the 5 star reviews. One even had the audacity to describe it as “nail-biting”. I have never wanted to punch someone in the face more now that I have actually seen the show. The wordy, yet meaningless and ineffective, reviews from people who actually enjoyed this show make so much more sense now. How many long, monotone, tortuous monologues can one possibly squeeze into a single episode? The main characters voices become absolutely unbearable by the end due to the constant mindless rambling about nonsense that doesn’t contribute, or even relate, to the plot in the slightest. Most of the dialogue is reciting scripture passages, to the point that I feel like I read the entire bible, yet learned absolutely nothing about Christianity at all. By the time the action happens you will loathe the show so much you won’t even care anymore. The final monologue followed by yet ANOTHER gospel hymn threw me completely over the edge. If I ever have to stare at Kate Siegals face again I might scream. Just skip this series entirely. Trust me.
