The story was tight, funny, and intriguing. It kept me engaged. Acting was great, and, each actor was perfect for their character; and the character building, relationships/friendships pull you in and you fall in love. Also loved the scrutiny on the role of historians particularly in relation to the royals families and other political roles , it caused me to research more about this and it's fascinating. Such a great story -I really didn't want it to end

I'm glad somebody pointed out that the low reviews were related to the 'anti-woke' crowd. The movie kept me on the edge of my seat, and the leading characters did a fantastic and realistic job pulling you into their relationship and career. Don't let the low ratings deter you.

I avoided this movie because of all the bad reviews- lesson learned, no more avoiding films because of reviews. It was fantastic, magical, and had depth

wow! if I had checked the star ratings I would not have went to see this movie- so thank goodness I hadn't. First of all, for all those saying it's anti-men, it is designed on how little girls played with barbies- and as someone who once was a little girl who played with barbies- well, Ken was not a central character- this does not mean men aren't important- it's just a genuine depiction of how little girls played. So please go into this nurturing your imagination. I have went to see it twice and I get more out of the nuanced messages each time. And what I got from the movie, is we are all uncomfortable in this experience of being human so we do things to try and make ourselves feel better (whether these things are good, bad, oppressive etc)- moral of the story, work on yourself, get to know yourself and enjoy this amazing experience of humanness.

I'm surprised at the lower ratings. I thought the script again, was hilarious and what a set of actors: Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Russel Crowe, Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson plus our usual Guardians of the galaxy and Matt Damon Cameo. Action, humour and eye candy!
