People say they don't like the ending but I think it was the only possible good ending. It's a premise like steins gate, those can't have cliché endings, it would've taken away from the show. Anyways I consider an anime good when it captivates all of my attention span and doesn't drag. Do yourself a favor and watch this. This is anime at its finest. The people who want their ending to be super predictable and run-of-the-mill cringe are missing the point of good cinema, if you think about it they were in kindergarten (what kind of incel romanticizes kindergarten relationships?) I don’t want to give away any spoilers but do you still talk to anybody you were in kindergarten with? do you expect your relationships in kindergarten to still be framed the same way when you’re in your mid 20s starting a family of your own? That’s completely unrealistic and ungrounded in reality. Not only that but he only held her hand never states that they were committed to each other! ALSO he loved that girl from his original timeline (hence all the flashbacks and it being the first thing he “remembered”), sorry but this anime is a 10 out of 10 and I’ve seen at least 1000 anime. Anime endings are often hit or miss for me but this was a satisfying-to-watch ending. Who wants a predictable ending that’s not even realistic?
