Oh! What a lovely soul stirring movie for our present times N.Padmakumar. It touched my heart in more ways than one and more chords than I knew. You deserve more accolades and more screens and of course more recommendations for a movie like this. Hair Aziz was a child of my own heart. His acting, his nuances the sensitivity he portrayed were just brilliant. That Sufi father and the practical mother are so life like. Heart rending beauty of a movie and thank you Thank you N. Padmakumar for this and Hari for all the mature innocence you bought alive. Waiting to hear and see you onscreen or behind camera in a few years from now.

A refreshing take on reality of houses and characters. Being fed the same diet of blockbuster Hindi movies with the reigning superstars mouthing utter nonsense. It’s quite a challenge for an Ukrainian director to understand the sensibilities of audiences in India and be smart enough to release it in the festival circuit rather than waiting for a Friday release. The audience for a niche movie like this which cannot be categorised either into the contemporary movie or the art movie or a commercial movie will watch the movie nevertheless. The stories keep you engrossed with the house being the basic premise. But what blew me away was the Kamaraj - The God of Love. What a mature acting with the two seasoned well known actors. The director has managed to extract what she wanted to imply with them just being themselves. The familiarity that old couples share. The knowledge of bodies , the intrinsic nature of the man not seeing things right under his nose. The secrets something which the wife holds dear. The thrill that her secret brings her. The underlying scare of ambulance in the sunset of their lives. Surely a movie which I will watch again. Kudos Daria Gai.
