The animation 10/10 but the plot and everything I just don’t get it. I see that this is inspired by a comic book. But the story is just all over the place. The characters aren’t even iconic or something I would remember. I am not even attached to anyone. The side characters didn’t even give life to the series. The whole series just seems rushed. I loved that we are promoting Filipino mythology and culture but come on. The actors are not it, they don’t even say words and phrases correctly. Regardless of that , the emotions put in the last episode for the “meltdown to the breaking point of Alexandra” is lacking. I wish they could’ve just made a movie and explain quite a little of the plot. And then procede to making a series that will dwell more in detail about the history and all of that. But I guess this is just what we have for today . I mean it’s one of the first for the Philippines to step in the game of “cartoons” or anime-es. So I’m proud that Filipinos are getting recognition and is giving justice to our culture but we could’ve done way better. Overall it’s just makes it a mediocre anime. I would love to see any changes if the series gets another season.
