I wasn’t too sure about watching this movie. The over promotion of these matches back in the 70s was a turnoff for me. I did, however thoroughly enjoy the film. Good casting, excellent acting and an insightful exploration of the characters and their relationships and the issues of the day made for absorbing viewing.
