I LOVEEED this k-drama!!! It is so good, I just finished watching it and can't help but want more of it. It has beautiful musicals in each of the episodes, the plot is wonderful, and the visual aesthetic is extremely pleasing, especially because I love carnival/amusement park themes. Oh, and did I mention that I fell in love with Ryu Min-Hyuk? That character is probably my most crushed-on fictional man <3 <3 Give it a watch, you're gonna love this k-drama too... * + Annara Sumanara + *

Suspiria is such a different kind of horror movie than those I have seen till now. The setting and atmosphere is the most catchy part of the movie, along with the perfect soundtrack which is creepy, loud and unsettling. The plot is good and the acting is alright. There's always a kind of suspense in the air and something about the scenes with bright red corridor lighting, vibrant red mosaic ceiling, and bright red academy building makes me feel strange...its just so red. It does not remind me of blood right away but it is simply discomforting, especially the red light...maybe because as a kid, I used to fear the red lighted photograph developing room of Grudge. Anyways, I think a horror-movie buff should watch this movie..It's really different.

Malena is such a beautiful movie. It shows the hardships of Malena, a beautiful Sicilian woman whose husband was away at war and her only true company in their Italian town was her kind and loving father. The people of the town never saw her for who she really was as a human. The men only lusted after her for her beauty, while this caused the women of the town to see her as an indecent woman and homebreaker. Rumours would go around the town about her without any real proof at all. The movie introduces the viewers to Renato, a twelve-thirteen year old boy of the same town. When he sees Malena for the first time, he too like the other men and boys, starts to develop feelings of lust for her. He gets wet-dreams every night thinking about her. His desire pushes him to see Malena often by spying on her everyday. Through the eyes of the boy, we get an insight of Malena's life and get to understand her for more than just the quiet sensual lady walking down the road. Though Renato initially only had lustful feelings for her, unlike the other townsfolk, he gradually grows to love her and tries to protect her in whatever little ways he could. We get to see how Malena endures unfair behaviour from the people when the news of her husband's death reaches the town, and how these cause her to transform to a new personality. Even though it seems she spends a few days peacefully after that, on the day of the end of the World War II, she is treated with extreme violence and public shaming by the women of the town. due to this, she leaves the town. Renato watches it all happen, unable to help her. After some days, Malena's husband returns in wounded condition. His news of death was false, he was only trapped in Africa. He finds their house filled by strangers, with no sight of Malena anywhere. He speaks to the town authority and the towns-people but no-one told him the truth. A man tells him about Malena in a very insulting manner and disrespects him even though he is a war-hero. Hurt by all this, he returns to his house to reside with the strangers. Renato, having followed him all day but not being courageous enough to tell him the truth face-to-face, drops a letter telling him of the train Malena had taken, and the fact that she had always loved her husband, no-one else. Finally, a year later, Malena returns to the town with her husband, leaving all the people in shock.The same people who had once disrespected her, now greeted them with false goodness. Their return was a powerful and brave step. Renato secretly follows her that day too but a small encounter happens. Then, he heads back quickly, thinking about how he would always remember her throughout his life.

Resident Evil (2002) is an action horror film where a virus outbreak in an underground laboratory of a leading pharmaceutical company causes the dead to become zombies. A group of soldiers of that company are sent to shut down the artificial intelligence software that caused a massacre in that workplace. Alice, the main character, wakes up with no memory of her past but is identified as a soldier for the company. The initially confused Alice is led by the team of soldiers to be a helping hand in their mission. Things start to go very wrong and they must get out of the underground facility as soon as possible. The film is undoubtedly a must-watch for horror and/or action movie-buffs. I absolutely lovee the whole Resident Evil movie series! It has a good balance of horror and action, focusing on the action scenes a bit more. Towards the fourth and fifth parts, some things may start getting just a tiny bit monotonous, but I still enjoyed the two movies very much. I found the sixth part ending really satisfying, although its beginning lost a little connection with the previous part. My personal favourites are the first two parts. I hope you enjoy the whole movie series.

Resident Evil : Welcome To Raccoon City is a horror film where a group of characters try to survive a zombie attack in Raccoon City. Some characters from the original RE movie series are taken with their basic history, and the villain here is the Umbrella Corporation again. Years after the first T-virus outbreak that caused the UC to destroy Raccoon City, another outbreak occurs and starts making the few residents of Raccoon City turn to insane flesh-craving creatures. Instead of Alice, the main character here is Claire Redfield (If you are a RE fan, you might have guessed that from the clothing of Kaya Scodelario in the poster already). The plot is not majorly related to the original RE series plot, so it might feel a little messy at the beginning if you have watched the RE movie series and remember it well (I binged it back-to-back the same week before watching this movie and had to take a break as the sudden change in plot jumbled my brain). As per some thoughts from RE videogame series gamers, they enjoyed the visual and atmosphere of the movie as it is very similar to that of the game's. Unlike the original RE movie series which has good horror scenes but focus on the action scenes more, this one focuses on bringing out the horror more than the action. The visuals, atmosphere and acting are good and the plot is okay-ish. All in all, it is a moderately-good horror movie. (By the way, there is a post-credit scene.)

The Grinch is such a wonderful movie! It's animation is beautiful and detailed. The plot is great, and adapted from Dr.Seuss's 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas' but with some different elements of its own. I feel it is a very enjoyable movie for both kids and adults. I don't know if it will sound strange, but this is the first time an animated kid's movie got me teary-eyed...it never happened before with other ones, am not very emotional while watching movies...I guess it's because the cause for Mr.Grinch's sadness is shown in a way that the viewer might feel it too.Anyways, the ending is absolutely heart-warming! All in all, I love this movie❤️✨. It teaches some moral lessons to the viewers too. Definitely give it a watch👍🏻.

I appreciate the movie's message that we don't need anybody else to make us happy, we should do that by ourselves. The protagonist goes through a lot of emotions. She makes some mistakes. She is imperfect...but she learns from her experiences and at the end, finds true peace in herself. I like how a few animations are added to some scenes to show the creative side of the protagonist's mind, who wants to grow up as a comic artist. Her imaginations add some colour to her world, and I personally think it makes the scenes a little more cheerful. All in all, I am not disappointed after I watched this movie.
