I was so excited about this show, b/c as a girl I read the books and really enjoyed them. I was extremely disappointed to see the many socialist references. The last episode, in particular, included “social justice,” “peaceful protests” at camp, they displayed the communists “raised fist” in solidarity, they put on a play romanticizing the French Revolution, the girls even referred to each other as “comrades” amongst many other examples. The books certainly never included these very polarizing political themes. I would appreciate it if you kept the propaganda out of children’s shows, or at the very least, read up on history. Your views may be extreme, but you will not succeed in brainwashing my kids.
