Almost scene for scene replica of "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" slight modernization and with female main characters. Could have been taken on in a new way for the talent they had in the film.

This dark Sabrina is, in my opinion, being dark for the sake of being dark and not doing it well. It tries to take on dark cinematic storytelling elements like the show Salem while still attempting to be lighthearted like the original Sabrina, but failing to dance the line effectively. Overall I think their casting could use some work also; with the exception of Michelle Gomez, who I loved from Doctor Who, and Chance Perdomo who brings life to the most likeable character on the show, Ambrose. I completed season one and do not intend to watch anything further for this show, I't is not for me.
